Mr. Eric Anthony Smith, age 24, husband of Barbara Mae Smith of Brodhead, Ky. passed away, Wednesday, April 12th, 2006 at the University of Kentucky Hospital.

He was born on July 26, 1981 in Mt. Vernon, Ky., a son of Mark Anthony Smith and Lena Mae Brummett Smith. He was a mechanic, auto body man and carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his son.

Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Mrs. Barbara Mae Smith of Brodhead, KY; A son, William Anthony Smith, His parents, Mark Anthony Smith and wife Lena Mae Brummett Smith, one sister- Selena Ann Bray and Michael Roy of Brodhead, KY., Austin Napier, Haley and Aliah Bray his niece, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Mr. Eric Anthony Smith will be Fri. April 14th, 2006 from 6-9 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead; Funeral services will be conducted Sat. April 15th, 2006 at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Negro Creek Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Courtney Payne, Jimmy Brummett, Joel Deatherage, Heath Payne, Jason Allen and Bobby Barron.
